MACBETH Footwear Studio Project Spring 2009
Frank Iero is the rhythm guitarist of the platinum selling act My Chemical Romance. For his Spring 2009 Studio Project Frank was inspired to dedicate his efforts to the charity Syrentha J. Savio Endowment (SSE). Available two versions, you can choose between the statement “Fuck Cancer” and “Cancer Fighter” embroidered on each heel. The insoles are printed with anatomically detailed descriptions for how to check for breast or testicular cancer. People are encouraged to shred the top material of the side Pennant on the upper to reveal hidden graphics of Frank’s own hand-drawn design.
The SSE, also know as Shirts For A Cure, raises money for underprivileged women who cannot afford breast cancer treatment or therapy via Punk Bands who design exclusive t-shirts for the charity.
