Tegan and Sara’s Fifth and most recent studio album. “The Con” has been heralded around the globe as a masterpiece in pop craftsmanship and intimate songwriting. The band has shared the stage with the likes of Neil Young, The Killers, Rufus-Wainwright, Death Cab For Cutie and Weezer, all while cultivating their own unique relationship with their avid fanbase.
Tegan and Sara worked with the Macbeth Creative Studio to customize The Macbeth Nolan, a sleek, feminine high top that matches their razor-sharp, low-maintenance, rock look. “The Tegan” is constructed out black denim with her own hand-draw wave graphic that was screened on the outer ankle. Her initial “TRQ” standing for Tegan Rain Quin, can also be found on the inside of the upper. “The Sara” in contrast to The Tegan, is made out of white denim and contains a large hand-draw “S” and “SKQ” on the inside and outside ankles respectively, standing for Sara Kiersten Quin.
